This Privacy Policy explains how Awokela handles information for StudyBox, a mobile learning, content creation, profile, store, and synchronization app.

3. Public content and visibility

StudyBox separates public and private information. Public profile pages and Store pages may show display name, handle, avatar, cover image, bio, public links, public qualifications, public content, public Store items, badges, and creator reputation. Private qualifications, private certificate images, email address, password hashes, sessions, private learning history, private notes, private content, payment details, point balances, and internal admin notes are not shown publicly.

4. Payments and points

On iOS, subscriptions and point purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple may process payment information under Apple's own policies. StudyBox receives only information needed to confirm entitlement and provide app functionality. StudyBox points are app-only points and cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, transferred to other users, exchanged for external points, exchanged for cryptocurrency, or moved to external services.

5. Sharing with third parties

Awokela does not sell personal information and does not use StudyBox data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Information may be shared only when necessary with infrastructure providers, Apple for in-app purchase operation, legal or safety authorities when required, or with other users when you intentionally publish or share content.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce terms. Some records may remain in backups or audit logs for a limited period. Deleted Store content may remain as a deletion event or audit record so that other devices stop displaying it.

7. User choices and deletion requests

You can change public profile fields and content visibility in StudyBox. You may request account assistance, data access, correction, or deletion by contacting support@awokela.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Security

StudyBox uses account authentication, password hashing, access controls, and server-side authorization checks. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect user information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.

9. Children

StudyBox is intended for general learning use and is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as StudyBox changes. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
